How you can help...
The Humane Society of Atlantic County is a private 501-3(c) non-profit organization which was founded in 1965. We are not funded by any govermental agencies or seperate humane groups and as such we rely on contributions from our supporters to enable us to continue our many different programs and services.
There are many ways you as a supporter can become involved with our organization. Financial contributions can be made by going to the bottom of this page to our donations area and selecting one of the many donation options available there or by downloading our contribution form, completing it and mailing it to HSAC, 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
The Humane Society of Atlantic County is always looking for volunteers as well. If you are interested in volunteering with us please head over to the volunteer section of this page where you'll find information about our different volunteer programs as well as our volunteer application.
How to donate
There are a variety of ways in which you can contribute to us here at the Humane Society of Atlantic County.
You can submit financial contributions online through our PayPal donation buttons located just below here, through our general donation button located on each of our pages, or by printing out our contribution form and mailing the completed form to HSAC, 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
If you have physical items you wish to donate, please take a look at the commonly used items we have listed below. If you do not see the item or items you wish to donate listed here please contact us as we may still be able to use it and please remember that any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Starting today you can purchase a t-shirt from the Sheltered Lives Web Store and for every shirt purchased $5 will be donated to the Humane Society of Atlantic County (You have to make sure to list us as the benefiting cause during the time of checkout). The Humane Society of Atlantic County is purchasing the new Kitty Cribs for our Cat Adoption Room at the shelter. These were brought to our attention during the HSUS shelter conference this year held in Orlando, Florida. The cost for each unit is $100.
If you would like to make a donation through our website for one of these, please put Kitty Crib in the memo.

Our animals love to sleep on Kuranda pet beds, but unfortunately we don't have enough for everyone...

Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Humane Society of Atlantic County. We are always looking for great volunteers to join us so please fill out a volunteer application today and either fax it to us at (609)344-0369 or mail it to 1401 Absecon Blvd. Atlantic City NJ, 08401. Alternatively you can fill out our online volunteer application here.
There are many different volunteer initiatives that we need help with so please choose as many as you feel comfortable with on the application as we fill things on a needs basis. We do also have a junior volunteer program that is run mainly during the summer.
Volunteers will go through a orientation process that we do on a monthly basis and will be given the necessary information to maintain a safe environment for both the animals and the volunteers while helping at the Humane Society of Atlantic County.
